    We will conduct a discovery call to learn about your needs and goals then walk your space independently. A garden roadmap will be created to provide guidance and direction over time.

  • I specialize in native plant gardens, pollinator habitats, edible landscapes, urban container gardens, outdoor living spaces, and any other ecologically focused residential landscapes. Every design is customized to your property's conditions, your goals, and the way you want to use your outdoor space.

  • No! I believe we should be prioritizing native plants in our landscapes because of their ecological benefits, climate resilience, and their inherent beauty. But I’m not a purist! We want our gardens to look good too and a friendly ornamental plant has its place in the world if it won’t damage our local ecosystems.

  • The process begins with an initial consultation where we discuss your property, goals, budget, and vision. From there, I develop a customized design package that may include site analysis, concept plans, planting plans, and implementation recommendations.

  • Absolutely and it’s encouraged! Many clients choose to install their landscapes themselves. Designs are created with clear recommendations and guidance to help homeowners confidently bring their projects to life. I also offer a range of support services to assist with this process!

  • Yes. Depending on the project, virtual consultations and design services can be completed using photos, measurements, videos, and online meetings, allowing me to work with clients beyond the Chicago area.

  • Every project is different, so pricing depends on the size, complexity, and scope of work. After an initial conversation, you'll receive a proposal tailored to your specific project needs.
